On November 24, 2011 Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund held its last charitable event – appropriately the Thanksgiving Day dinner. The Fund’s team, many of whom were present from America, has an abundance to be grateful for: not only for our health, but also for the opportunity for the US-based organization to stretch across the ocean to make a difference in the lives of children in Ukraine.
The Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund is implementing its final legacy in the medical field – Ukraine’s first expansive telemedicine program. CCRDF chose this program because it is the best investment the Fund can make for the future of Ukraine.
Join us with your family on November 24, 2011 at 19:00 to give thanks for all of life’s blessings. Celebrate the holiday with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at InterContinental Kyiv's five-star Olivera restaurant.
Proceeds from this year’s event will be earmarked towards CCRDF’s telemedicine project.
In 2010, CCRDF approached the Volodymyrets city officials to match our contribution towards an x-ray project. Upon agreement and after five months of reconstruction, several weeks of equipment installation and training of physicians, the radiology department of the Volodymyrets Central District Hospital in the Rivne region is opening its doors to its patients.
